Two students in the Department of Art & Art History, Kim Krausert (BFA candidate in Art Education) and Jennifer Minnis (BFA candidate in painting), have work in juried group exhibitions in the southeast.
Kim is showing work, including “Winter Has Arrived” (above left) in Bellwethers 2019, the 3rd Annual Juried Exhibition of Collegiate Student Art at West Tennessee Regional Art Center in Humboldt, Tennessee. The exhibition, in which she received First Place in the 2D division, is on view October 28 – November 26.
Jennifer’s “Shifting of Self” (above right) is in Reclaiming My Time at the Visual Art Exchange in Raleigh, North Carolina. This survey of work by female contemporary artists from the 11-state region of the south is on view September – December 2019.
