Athletic training for arts students

The College of Arts + Architecture is thrilled to have Nicole Whitaker as a resource for our students. Whitaker works in the Department of Applied Physiology, Health, and Clinical Sciences. Athletic Training services are only available to participants in the Sport Club Program as well as Performing Arts students. Services provided include injury evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, preventative care, education, and more!

ACCESSING SERVICES

Belk Gym 020 & 025J

When you enter Belk Gym, go down one floor to access our two training rooms. Nicole Whitaker will treat you in one of these rooms during walk-in hours.

Our Athletic Trainer is taking walk-ins and appointments. Visit the University Recreations website for more information including a detailed weekly schedule with drop-in times and locations.

Support resources

Who should you talk to if you need support? If you need classroom support, have questions about a classroom topic or approach, or have witnessed something in class you’d like to speak about, the instructor is a highly recommended first point of contact. If you cannot approach the instructor, you may consider communicating with the unit head (chair or director) as a facilitator. See more resources, below.
