Tell us a little about yourself! When did you first get interested in music?

I first got into music in middle school. I loved seeing the band and I knew I wanted to be in band immediately.

How did your education at UNC Charlotte prepare you for where you are today?

I had a great group of educators at UNC Charlotte. They all prepared me for real world situations.

What are you up to now?

I am currently a band director at Hickory Ridge Middle School. I love teaching students and giving them a music education.

Do you have any advice for current students in the College of Arts + Architecture?

Work hard and never give up.

Have you returned to UNC Charlotte since graduating?

I came back to get my masters degree. Currently enrolled.
